Levels and Curves Filter Pack

Hace poco Nattress Productions lanzó al mercado su pack Levels and Curves Filter, un conjunto de filtros de corrección de color basados en FxFactory (de Noise Industries).

Al realizar las correcciones los cálculos se realizan sobre una curva que simula el espacio logarítmico (Film-Log), por lo que se obtiene un control más preciso.

Otra de sus cualidades es la capacidad de trabajar de una forma más intuitiva. Esto es gracias a la representación de la curva que aparece en el monitor de trabajo (esta curva se puede eliminar fácilmente de la pantalla si no resulta útil).

Tiene diferentes herramientas con las que trabajar, como Curves Luma, que permite que las correcciones sólo afecten a la luminosidad, Levels, para correcciones en los blancos y negros, o Curves RGB, para el control individual de los tres canales.

Además, incluye una librería de presets para poder aplicar correcciones que ya están hechas o para guardar nuevas personalizadas.

El pack está disponible para Final Cut Pro (6, 7 y 10), Motion (3, 4 y 5) y After Effects a partir de la versión CS3 (8, 9, 10 y 10.5). Como está basado en FxFactory, es necesario tenerlo instalado. Al descargarlo (es gratuito) incluye una versión de prueba para Levels and Curves Filter Pack.

Levels and Curves Filter Pack

Nattress Productions recently released its Levels and Curves Filter pack, a set of color correction filters based on FxFactory (from Noise Industries).

When corrections are made, the calculations are performed on a curve that simulates the logarithmic space (Film-Log), thus obtaining a more precise control.

Another of its qualities is the ability to work in a more intuitive way. This is thanks to the representation of the curve that appears on the work monitor (this curve can be easily removed from the screen if it is not useful).

It has different tools to work with, such as Curves Luma, which allows corrections to affect only brightness, Levels, for black and white corrections, or Curves RGB, for individual control of the three channels.

In addition, it includes a library of presets to be able to apply corrections already made or to save new customized ones.

The pack is available for Final Cut Pro (6, 7 and 10), Motion (3, 4 and 5) and After Effects from version CS3 (8, 9, 10 and 10.5). As it is based on FxFactory, it is necessary to have it installed. When you download it (it is free) it includes a trial version of the Levels and Curves Filter Pack.
